What happened? (Sharing with you facts from her horrible journey)
For the past year Zofia was losing weight which she attributed to exercise and diet. In July she usually does a yearly physical with blood work. Her primary care physician told her everything was great except for anemia and to take over the counter iron pills.
Looking back that was a huge mistake! If you are over 50 and anemic its most probably cancer because I learned from her oncologist that cancer causes anemia.
Over the year (looking back) she did have some symptoms like several night sweats,pain on both sides of her back that went away, loss of appetite and loss of energy.However it was not severe and no one imagined she had cancer for at least a full year(maybe more) inside her body.
First week of August she started getting swelling in her stomach specifically the belly button which looked like hernia. By then I was suspecting cancer but did not want to say it and convinced Zofia who was about getting a second opinion, to go do blood work with Dr Uzick(my naturopathic oncologist) Two days later his office called her that Dr Uzick wants her to go to the ER immediately.
Zofia was in a state of shock and I told her she must go because Dr Uzick found something very serious. After consulting with Dr Miley about the best ER to go to Zofia went on a Tuesday (I was in DC for my sons graduation)
By now Zofia had swelling in her legs and stomach. Zofia was told, scan showed cancer spread to liver, kidney,lungs,bones,lymph nodes .The largest mass was in the right kidney.This was the first time she heard she had cancer! ER doctors recommended she go to her PCP to get a referral to an oncologist.
Her very rude PCP told her to get her affairs in order because she has a couple months to live. This is the same PCP that had no idea that anemia at a certain age is caused by cancer and should have sent her to do an MRI immediately but instead told her to take over the counter iron pills!
Our first appointment with the oncologist on Wilmont and based on the ER scan he received he told us that he thinks its kidney cancer. He also said that he is not certain and needs to wait on a biopsy lab results for a definite diagnosis so we thought…however if lab confirms that it is kidney cancer she will need chemo for life because it has spread. If she would have come earlier with kidney cancer that kidney could have been surgically removed and you can live with one kidney.
I will never forget Zofia looked at me and said “I wish I would have taken the Galleri blood test”. The month of August was filled with tests including a biopsy of the liver.
Oncologist told us at our next meeting that biopsy lab results came back with a diagnosis of HER2+++ Breast Cancer! so we thought…
The oncologist discussed a very aggressive chemo because this type of cancer is very rare and very aggressive. I had the exact same HER2+ breast cancer diagnosis almost 7 years ago and same chemo. However in March when the Galleri test was first available I took it at Dr Uzicks clinic and results came back “cancer not detected”
Because Zofia was otherwise very healthy she agreed to this very aggressive chemo to “kill” the cancer…
After her first chemo she was on a wheelchair and second chemo bed ridden and hired 24/7 caregivers. Chemo side effects were horrific. When we met with her oncologist again he told us that he decided to send for another lab work to find out what cancer she has and that preliminary results are back confirming it WAS NOT breast cancer but need to do more testing.
Imagine how shocking that was for all of us to find out that basically Zofia got a wrong diagnosis + 2 rounds of wrong chemo! During this nightmare Zofia was in and out of TMC hospital 4 times!
While in the hospital her oncologist let her know that if she gets another chemo(3rd) it will kill her and that she needs to build her strength back because he has a different weekly chemo regimen for her.
In my personal opinion I believe that the first 2 chemos contributed to her death! right? Not only the 2 chemos did not work but now her cancer spread to her brain! Zofia was now back home on hospice care. She was sent with liquid morphine,oxygen,catheter,hospital bed and several “zombie” drugs.
During this horrific time meeting and talking to holistic nurses and doctors and individuals who oppose chemo and treat themselves holistically I made a discovery. Cancer is no more than a parasitic infection!
I researched and found out that fenbendazol, a dog dewormer being used to treat cancer patients in several clinics around the country. A dewormer???
Well that confirmed to me that cancer is caused by parasites who suck all our nutrients causing anemia and a host of other unexplained diseases.
Also Dr Miley who visited Zofia several times recommended she take ivermectin also a dewormer right?
What absolutely confirmed for me that cancer is caused by parasites is when I met with Dr Uzick 5 years ago and he put me on a regimen of preventing a recurrence and the first thing he told me to take daily was Melatonin.
I thought Melatonin is for sleep…well not only for sleep. Dr Uzick told me then that (20 mg) Melatonin has anti cancerous properties. Now I did my research and Bingo!Melatonin is also a dewormer and there are several clinics in the US treating cancer patients with high doses of Melatonin.
By just taking Melatonin you will not fall asleep.You will fall asleep after taking Melatonin when you are in a dark place like putting an eye mask, that will trigger sleep.
Zofia was getting daily Physical Therapy from her next door neighbor, vitamin C intravenously from Dr Deal home visits as well as several supplements including melatonin CBD Fenbendazol and Ivermectin.
Two weeks after Zofia was sent home from her 4th TMC stay lab culture results showed she had sepsis and was put on antibiotics.
On Monday night she had severe pain in the abdomen area and asked for Morphine…(This according to what I was told. I asked three times, “ are you sure?” this was it she never woke up again, and on the 5th day, she took her last breath. My best friend passed away. I really, really wanted her to be a survivor like me.
At that time we were still waiting on her Oncology and TMC medical records (from 4 weeks ago)
I cannot change the past but imagine…if back in March Zofia would have taken the Galleri cancer detecting blood test that she intended to take…it would have confirmed she had cancer and pinpointed the exact location for treatment.
The Tucson Polish Club Zofia and I started over a year ago is renamed Zofia Polish Club and everyone is invited to join every first Wednesday of the Month at 5 pm at the Polish Cottage Restaurant .

Wednesday December 7th 2022 two weeks after Zofia passed away I went to Oncology and were given copies of her medical records and BINGO!
That secondary lab test the oncologist told us showed that she had 58% urothelial carcinoma(cells lining the bladder and pelvis). 28% squamous cell carcinoma (skin cancer).
I always assumed a biopsy is 100% accurate…well its not!!!
I also believed that chemo cures cancer but did not know that it is only 2% effective. I took chemo almost 7 years ago so I am the lucky 2%. However you live and learn and I will NEVER recommend chemo to anyone!!!!

Please in honor of my best friend Zofia whose biggest regret was not taking the Galleri cancer detecting blood test ask you PCP for a kit and take it yearly(I will do that). Also get rid of your parasites that cause cancer and all other diseases. and please NO chemo!
